Who’s Running to be Your Next President?

Americans head to the polls in just over a year, and already the 2024 Presidential election is shaping up to be a hotly contested race. Several people have put their hat in the race to become the next president of the United States.
On the Democratic side, three people have officially launched their campaigns:
President Joe Biden the incumbent, hopes to be re-elected for his second term
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr this will be his third run for president, previous runs were in 1988, and 2008
Marianne Williamson who ran for president in 2020, but has never held a political office
For the Republicans the field is much more crowded with 11 candidates as of today, with a few more contemplating a run.
Donald Trump, former president who launched his campaign in November of 2022
Ron Desantis he is the current governor of Florida
Nikki Haley former Ambassador to the United Nations and former Governor of South Carolina
Mike Pence former Vice President
Chris Christie former Governor of New Jersey
Tim Scott current United States Senator
Larry Elder former Conservative talk show host
Vivek Ramaswamy businessman from Ohio
Perry Johnson businessman from Michigan
Asa Hutchinson former Governor of Arkansas
Doug Burgum Governor of North Dakota
Third party candidates:
Dr. Cornel West launched his campaign this week running for the People’s Party.
